Zackary TerZakarian

As a General Liability Litigation Attorney at Makkabi Law Group, Zackary brings years of litigation experience to his work advocating for individuals who have been injured through no fault of their own.  While his early career was devoted to defending insureds, professionals, and corporations, Zackary now uses that insider perspective to help plaintiffs secure the compensation they deserve.

Before joining Makkabi Law Group, Zackary practiced at two nationally recognized defense firms—Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP and Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.—where he handled a wide range of professional liability and general liability matters.  Zackary managed cases from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation evaluation, discovery, taking and defending depositions, mediation, and settlement negotiations.  This experience gives Zackary unique insight into defense strategies, insurance carrier expectations, and the litigation tactics plaintiffs are likely to face—knowledge he now leverages to strengthen and maximize his clients’ claims.

Zackary began his legal career as a solo practitioner, where he successfully represented clients in personal injury, property damage, lemon law, and landlord-tenant matters.  Those early victories reaffirmed his commitment to standing up for individuals whose lives have been disrupted by the negligence of others.

Zackary is admitted to practice in the State of California and received his Juris Doctor from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law.  Outside of the office, Zackary enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing golf, and hockey.
