Neil Berry, Esq.

Neil J. Berry is a senior trial attorney who specializes in handling serious injury and wrongful death cases throughout California. Neil attended UCLA on a baseball scholarship, graduating in 1986 with a BA degree in English. After graduation, Neil worked in Hollywood as a feature film story analyst and coached baseball at his alma mater, Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. Neil went on to attend Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence. During law school and after graduation he worked on the staff of the office of former President Ronald Reagan in Century City. Neil is licensed to practice law in all of the courts in California, including the United States Southern District.

Neil began his career as a trial lawyer at the white shoe firm of Medearis & Grimm, which at the time was the longest continuously managed Plaintiff’s firm in Los Angeles. While at M & G, Neil was mentored by the noted trial attorney Dale Grimm, and tried more than a dozen cases as first chair. Neil then moved on to the well-known Orange County trial team at the Reeves Law Group, in Santa Ana, where he successfully tried many cases over 15 years.

At Makkabi Law Group, Neil concentrates his practice on representing those people who are damaged physically and emotionally because of the wrongdoing of others. Neil endeavors to provide not only the legal expertise necessary to ensure that his injured clients receive justice, but also the personal guidance to help his clients make it through troubled times.

Neil grew up in West Los Angeles and attended grammar school at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He and his family now live in Santa Monica, and he spends his free time playing golf, and traveling.
