2 Killed, 2 Injured in Rollover Crash on 405 Freeway

July 26, 2014

Around 2 a.m. on July 26, a fatal crash occurred, causing two deaths and injuries to two other passengers. A tan Toyota Camry exited the Avalon Boulevard off ramp on the 405 Freeway, turned right and hit the left side of a parked big rig. The Toyota lost control, went through the guard rail, and spiraled down into an embankment.

Alonzo Fausto, the 21 year old driver from Long Beach, died at the scene along with a 16 year old female passenger.  The accident also produced a fair amount of injuries among another 16 year old female and an 18 year old male who were inside the car.

The off ramp were the collision took place was shut down for several hours while the crash was investigated and the surroundings were cleaned.
