Man Killed, 6 Injured In Crash On 10 Freeway Near Culver City

August 3, 2014

Around 3 a.m. on the morning of August 3rd, a two vehicle collision occurred, proving fatal for one person and injuring six others. Going westbound on the 10 Freeway at Manning Avenue a Toyota Camry and a Honda crashed.

A passenger named Anselmo Hernandez  in the Toyota was taken to the hospital, where was later pronounced dead due to his extensive injuries. The driver of the Toyota fortunately made it out of the collision only sustaining minor injuries. In addition, the Toyota was transporting three other passengers. A 42 year old male received mild injuries, meanwhile, a 16 year old male and 14 year old female suffered lesser injuries.

The Honda contained two passengers. Luckily, the driver and the 23 year old passenger walked away with minimal injuries.

Authorities have yet to find out what caused such a devastating accident.
