Netflix Star Sara Burack Killed in Hamptons Hit‑and‑Run

Reality TV personality and real estate agent Sara Burack, best known from Netflix’s Million Dollar Beach House, tragically lost her life in a hit‑and‑run accident in Hampton Bays early Thursday morning.

Found unresponsive on Montauk Highway near Villa Paul Restaurant around 2:45 a.m., Burack suffered devastating head injuries, multiple fractures, and went into cardiac arrest before being transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. Despite emergency measures, she did not survive.

Amanda Kempton, 32, from Virginia, was arrested Friday following a manhunt. Kempton is charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving a fatality, a felony punishable by up to four years in prison . Her attorney claims foggy conditions led her to believe she struck a traffic cone and that she didn’t realize she hit a person until spotting Burack’s pink suitcase under her vehicle. No evidence of alcohol was found.

The investigation by local and state police continues, as friends and family remember Burack for her warmth, professionalism, and philanthropic spirit.
